Marie Pansier

Marie A. Pansier, 96, of Ledgeview, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2015. The daughter of the late Walter and Mae (Sherlock) Kiley was born August 27, 1918 in Glenmore. She married Jim Pansier on June 9, 1948 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere, where she was a life-time member. Marie farmed with her husband Jim in the Town of Ledgeview and enjoyed playing sheepshead. Survivors include his children; Karen Lawrence, Hayward, WI, Shirley (Bernie) Leiterman, Greenleaf, Janet (Mike) Titulaer, Ledgeview, Joyce (James) Pouwels, Rockland, Roy (Joan) Pansier, Ledgeview, Glen (Jane) Pansier, Ledgeview, Charlet (Richard) Kozlovsky, Glenmore; 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brothers and sisters; Raymond (Kathy) Kiley, De Pere, Thomas (Marian) Kiley, Glenmore, James (friend Florence Donovan) Kiley, Green Bay, Delores (Kenneth) Matzke, Ledgeview, Marcella (Leland) Hoffman, Ventura, CA; one brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law; Raymond Pansier, De Pere, Frances Van Dahuvel, De Pere, and Sister Evelyn Pansier, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Leiterman, 2 sons-in-law David Guns and Larry Lawrence; great-granddaughter Lialah Pouwels; sisters, Rosella (Joseph) Reedy, and Dorothy Kiley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Walter (Pearl) Pansier, Wilfred (Fern) Pansier, and Helen Pansier. Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St, De Pere, on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 4:00-7:00pm with a parish prayer service at 7pm to conclude the evening. Visitation will continue on Saturday, at the church, from 9:30-10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Marie at 11:00am Saturday with the Rev. Judah Pigon, MF, officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.cotterfuneralhome.com. We as a family would like to extend our loving gratitude to Joyce and Jim Pouwels for taking care of Mom. We wish to thank the staffs of Bishop’s Court, Home Instead, and Unity Hospice and Palliative Care for their support. Also, a special thank you to the Pastoral Staff of St. Francis Xavier Parish for the many visits and prayers.
