Marian Lucile Kiley De Both, 98, of De Pere, WI passed away peacefully at Rennes Health Center of natural causes on Friday, May 15, 2015. Marian, the daughter of Frank and Grace (Brennan) Kiley , was born on June 11, 1916 in the town of Glenmore. Marian graduated from the Kiley Grade School and De Pere High School. She married Elmer De Both on Thanksgiving Day, November 30, 1939. They enjoyed almost 60 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1999. Marian was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere. She was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society, Catholic Women’s Club, St. Francis and De Pere Women’s Club bridge marathons, as well as the Ledgeview Ladies Golf League. She was a longtime volunteer at Rennes Health Center, Mobile Meals, Curative Workshop, American Red Cross Blood Banks and the WI Coalition on Aging. First and foremost she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother . Survivors include her 4 daughters, Sarah/Sallie (Ed) Johnston, Franklin TN; Mary Kay Basten (Doug Staidl) Howard,WI; Jan (Gary) DeByl , Judy (Glenn) Lehnert, De Pere, WI; She is further survived by 11 grandchildren: Amy Johnston, Nashville, TN; David (Carla) Johnston, Chattanooga, TN: Jim (Heather) Basten, Woodbury, MN; Perry (Wendi) Basten, Columbus, OH; Carrie (Steve) Smith, Colorado Springs, CO; Kelly (Matt) Baenen, Green Bay, WI; Chad DeByl, Howard, WI; Sara DeByl (Mike Lattary) Rogers, MN; Katie (Jay) Justman, Shawano, WI; Jennifer (Rod) VanRite, De Pere, WI; Stephanie Lehnert (Drew Neerdaels), Green Bay, WI and 26 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Francis Kiley; Clarence (Ann) Kiley; three sisters, Ceil Kiley, Margaret (Urb) McVey, Loretta (John) Collins; a sister-in-law Florence (Sid ) Jansen; a brother-in-law, Al (Millie) DeBoth, and one son-in-law, James N. Basten. Family and friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Church, 220 S. Michigan St. De Pere, WI on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated for Marian at 11:00 am with Rev. Judah Pigon, MF officiating. Inurnment in Allouez Mausoleum. A memorial fund has been established in Marian’s name.
