Steve found Marcia's hand written obituary today and this is what she wrote.

My name was Marcia.

I was born in Green Bay, WI, on a cold winter night, February 17, 1947, to my parents, Melville (Chuck) and Florence (Campbell) French.

I joined my four sisters and one brother and later two more brothers after my birth in De Pere, Wis.
I lived in De Pere till I was nineteen and at that foolish age, married in 1966. In 1970, I had a beautiful son, Chad David, who was a beautiful, happy baby and became a kind and thoughtful young man. Sadly Chad passed away at the age of 22, in an industrial accident at his business. His death was very hard on all of his family and friends.

I divorced in 1975 and lived in Green Bay, till I met the true love of my life, Steve Rienow. We married in 1979 and in 1980, moved to Denmark, WI. We lived in the same house renting and then buying it. I loved Denmark and the peaceful living. Steve and I had so much fun in this home with all the dogs and cats thru the years.
We made some very special friends while living in Denmark. The neighbors, like Clarence, Carol and Clary Lacenski are the best. My best friend, Charmaine was always very special, like a sister and we had so much fun. Those were the days…Don’t ask!

I worked at the Village Mart for many years. I liked working there, it was a great place to people watch. I also bartended in area taverns. I would still be working with Sally; if my health hadn’t become so bad.

We had many animals thru the years, many cats and dogs. Starting years ago, with Smoky and Bandit (cats), Chad named them. Dillon (dog) to present day with Brook (dog) and Kit Kat and three outside cats. Steve is a magnet to animals and treats them wonderfully.

I enjoy crafts and puzzles, baking, drawing and K tel knitting, loved baking cookies for Clarence (sweetie) and my Big Boys, Tim and Nohr.

I am survived by my brothers-in-law, Dr. Eddie Orman, (MN); Robert Smith, sister-in-law, Marlene French, De Pere; brother-in-law, Bill (Mary) Rienow, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Lou Ann Schley, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Mary (Rick) Duca, Oconto; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

I am preceded in death by my mom and dad, sisters, Margot Smith, Mary (Bill) Lynch, Milly Orman, sisters in-law, Bill (Mary) Lynch, Milly Orman,; brothers, Walter, Kenneth and Maley French; also Steve’s parents, William and Carol (Johnson) Rienow; brothers-in-law, Alan, Clayton, Carl, Greg and Dennis Rienow; one sister-in-law, Annette Albert.

I hope you’ll all take care of my Steve and be good to each other. I love you Margot, girls, and Maine, but most of all I loved Steve.

My name is Marcia.

I lost a very good friend today. Good-Bye Clarence, I’ll be seeing you soon.
Love, me.
