Madeline Rose Wotachek

July 5, 2016 — January 26, 2018

Our sweet baby Madeline Rose Wotachek became our angel in Heaven on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee due to a brain aneurysm. Madeline was born July 5, 2016 to parents Brandon and Michelle (Schott) Wotachek. Madeline smiled and laughed throughout her 18 months; bringing joy and happiness to everyone she touched. Madeline loved puppies, books, blankets, hats and cookies. She was always looking for puppies in books and magazines that Mommy and Daddy had. Madeline was constantly on the move, reading book after book, playing with toys and raiding the kitchen cabinets. As of late, she figured out how to open doors and took great joy in hiding in closets. Madeline loved to go outside, whenever someone stepped into the garage, she would yell “outside outside” and grab her coat. When Mommy or Daddy had something in their hands, Madeline had to see what is was, saying “I see I see” repeatedly, until they showed her what they had. Madeline was not a picky eater, she would eat anything you put in front of her. She would first smell it, then eat it. She especially loved nanas, cheese, ba (bread) cooookies and off course milky and wawa. She was well onto becoming her own unique self, with a spirited personality and gift to make people laugh. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandfather, Bernard Wotachek, maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Rosemary Schott; aunts and uncles: Erin and Don Rabitz, Justin Wotachek, Mike and Jenny Schott; cousins: Jacob, Jonathan and Joshua Rabitz, Brett Schott; godparents: Ted and Jane Thorne; numerous great aunts, uncles and friends; Karen Antolec and family, and the rest of Madeline’s friends at daycare. She is being greeted in Heaven by her paternal grandmother, Jeanette Wotachek. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home-Denmark Chapel, 536 County Rd R, Denmark, on Thursday, February 1, from 4:00pm until 7:30pm. A parish prayer service will be at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue at St. James Catholic Church – Cooperstown, 18228 County Rd R, Denmark, on Friday, February 2, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. William O’Brien officiating. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on. Her organs were donated to children in need. Madeline’s family would like to thank everyone that helped during her time of need, especially nurse Eva at Children’s Hospital. THE FAMILY RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS NO FLOWERS. A memorial fund has been established in her name for funding the education of her soon to be sibling. Madeline…You brought joy to us that we did not know was possible, you are our precious little angel and will never be forgotten by Momma and Dadty. “Once in a while children come into this word so special and beautiful that the angels need these precious ones to sing and play in Heaven, and light up the world from above.”
