Luella June (Hussong) Thiem

Thiem, Luella J. (nee Hussong) On August 8, 2014, Luella June Hussong passed away peacefully at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence of Unity Hospice in De Pere. Luella was born on June 12, 1920 in the town of Glenmore, Brown Co., WI, to Edwin and Martha (Nohr) Hussong. Luella’s paternal grandparents were Jacob and Wilhelmine (Saenger) Hussong, and her maternal grandparents were Louis and Caroline (Fischer) Nohr. Preceding her in death were her brother, Gilbert Hussong in 1952, and her grandson, Andrew Thiem in 2002. Luella married Eugene J. Thiem on March 16, 1946 and divorced in 1969. She was employed at Bellin Hospital from June 1969 until 2002 in housekeeping. All five surviving children are: Linda (John) Wochos, Kewaunee, Eugene (Linda) Thiem, Denmark, Mary Cornelius, Thomaston, GA, Lyle (Bev) Thiem, De Pere, and Ellen (Tom) Linzmeier, De Pere; grandchildren: Elissabeth Ezeokeke, Minneapolis, MN, John P. Wochos, Kewaunee, Eric Thiem, Stillwater, MN, Ryan Thiem, Greenleaf, Courtney Baenen, Green Bay, Ben Thiem, Mark Thiem, and Matt Linzmeier, all of De Pere. Visitation will be at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N.
