Louise Ann Miske

January 22, 1942 — December 8, 2010

Louise Ann (Calaway) Miske, 68, Allouez, went to Heaven peacefully on Wednesday, December 08, 2010. She was born January 22, 1942, to the late Frank and Katherine Calaway. Louise married her loving husband of 45 years, Donald “Don” Miske on December 26, 1964 at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, Green Bay, and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2010. Throughout life, Louise enjoyed gardening, fishing, arts and crafts, and snowmobiling. She was a talented cook and seamstress, and enjoyed spending time at the family cottage. Survivors include her children and grandchildren; Bill Miske and his children, Andy and Stephanie and their mother, Julie Miske, Green Bay; and Brenda (Randy) Carter and their children, Erika and Ethan, De Pere; brothers, Jim (Dianne) Calaway and Paul (Nancy) Calaway; sisters: Patricia Goffard, Ann (Carl) VanderLinden; sisters-in-law, Arlene, Mary, Grace, Bonnie and Sally Calaway, and Arlene Oakley and June (Alfred) Pfluger; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Louise was preceded in death by a son, Brian; husband, Don; her parents; brothers: Bob, Patrick, Fran, Pete, Mark Calaway; sister, Clara Calaway; and brothers-in-law, Bob Goffard and Roy Oakley. Friends may call Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 130 St. Matthew St., Allouez. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday at church, with Fr. Larry J. Seidl officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere.
