Lorraine M (Wagner) Zeman

Lorraine M. (Wagner) Zeman, age 91, Denmark, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Harmony of Denmark. She was born April 24, 1924 to the late Edward and Ella (Dewitz) Wagner, in the town of Oakfield. She was educated in Oakfield and Fond du Lac County schools. Lorraine married Ralph Zeman on June 13, 1953 at St. John Catholic Church in Byron, WI and they enjoyed 38 years together before Ralph passed away on June 8, 1991. She resided in Denmark and worked at Brown County Publishing and the Denmark Press for 24 years. Lorraine was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers Society. She was also active with the Denmark Senior Center, enjoyed playing the piano, listening to music, socializing and playing cards with her special friends at Harmony. Survivors include her nephew, Ronald (Marjorie) Krizek, Elm Grove, WI; great niece, Claudine (Greg) Paulson, Scottsdale, AZ; great nephew, Scott (Megan) Krizek and their daughters: Molly and Lily of Mequon; special cousins, Diane Kuslits and Virginia Dewitz, Oakfield and Joan Wagner, Fond du Lac; and godchildren, Gary (Sandy) Wagner, Mark (Maria) Skubal, and Tom Havlovitz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; sister Leona; her parents; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lucille and Victor Krizek; cousins, Earl Dewitz, Wilmer Wagner, Connie Gregory, Bill Kuslits, Marvin (Shirley) Dewitz; and other aunts, uncles, and friends. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, June 2, from 12:30pm until the hour of Mass at All Saints Catholic Church, 125 St. Claude St., Denmark. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm with the Rev. Kevin Ori officiating. Burial will follow in the All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Denmark.
