Lorraine Delores (Sobocinski) Karr

Lorraine Karr, 90, Allouez, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her home with her son and daughter by her side. The daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Jankowski) Sobocinski was born on July 30, 1926. Lorraine attended Holy Family Catholic School in Cudahy and on October 19, 1946 was united in marriage to Roman C. Karr at Holy Family Church. Lorraine was employed as a bookkeeper at the Fine-Lando Clinic in Cudahy for 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, watching T.V., word search puzzles, Bingo, and playing card games. She was an active member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Allouez. Survivors include her children: Janice (Mark) Lambert, David (Kim) Karr; grandchildren: Michael Krause, Jennifer (Jason) Bero, Danielle (Gabe) Kempf, Megan (Dustin) Kersten; great-grandchildren: Zachary, Bryce, Grace, Ryan, Clayton, Brynlee, Rylan, Abby, and Jacob; brother-in-law, Richard Karr; sisters-in-law: Eunice Franzen, Katherine (Ralph) Adams, Beverly (Jerry) Hanson; numerous cousins; her faithful companions, Lilly and Mya. Family and friends may visit at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr, Allouez, on Monday, October 17, from 9:30am until 10:45am. The Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine will be celebrated at 11:00am with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Private burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Oak Creek. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the Karr family.
