Loretta E. Fritsch, 87, Wrightstown, died peacefully Monday, March 5, 2018. She was born November 6, 1930 the daughter of the late Peter and Elsie (Hauser) Bethke Sr.
On August, 19, 1950 she married Vincent Fritsch Sr. and together they raised their six children. She devoted her entire life to her family. Loretta worked on the farm her whole life. Her side job was working at WOS Optical as a lab technician for 25 years. She was an avid gardener, planting seeds at everybody’s home. Lorretta enjoyed canning, fishing and berry picking. Any family project was catered in by Loretta’s home cooking. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cared for all types of animals.
Loretta is survived by her children, Jan (Dennis), Joyce (Roger), Jerry (Ronda), Jim (Debbie), Jean (Paul), and Vincent Jr.(Barb); grandchildren, Jenny (Mark), Brian (Vicky), Lisa (Eugene), Pamela (Nick), Karin (Adam), Shannon, Dustin (Erin), Kristin (Chad), Heather (Jason), Rebecca (Angel), Candice (DJ), Cory (Christina), Katlin (Ian); great-grandchild, Wiatt, Lauren, Derek, Dylan, Laney, Quinn, Landon, Lylah, Oliver, Noah, Sophia, Beckett, Grayson, Savannah, Cheyenne, and Kenny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; infant son, John; her parents; three brothers, Bernard (Rose), Peter Jr (Claire), and Delbert Bethke.
Family and friends may call from 9:00 am till 10:45 am on Saturday, March 10, at St. Clare Catholic Church (St Mary’s Site), 2218 Day Street, Greenleaf. A Memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
