Lillimae De Cleene

Lillimae M. De Cleene, 90, De Pere, passed away Tuesday night, November 29, 2011. She was born on April 26, 1921 in the town of De Pere, daughter of the late Peter and Cecelia (Vanden Heuvel) Leiterman. On May 4, 1940, Lillimae married Norbert M. De Cleene at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, De Pere. He passed away July 2, 1983. She was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Parish, and was involved with the Altar Rosary Society. She greatly enjoyed gardening, nursing plants to good health, and was well known for her beautiful flower garden and her raspberry patch. Lillimae is survived by 6 children: Al (Diane) De Cleene, New Franken; Pete (Eileen) De Cleene, Green Bay; Richard (Joan) De Cleene, Park Ridge, IL; Alice (Tom) Janquart, Green Bay; Barb De Cleene, Allouez; and Marilyn (Mont) Martin, Brookfield, WI; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Tordeur; a brother, Gerald Leiterman; 4 sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norbert; 2 grandchildren: Ryan Martin and Mark De Cleene; daughter-in-law, Susan De Cleene; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters. Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 10:00 am until 11:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Friday at 11:30 am with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
