Leonard "Buddy" Goeben

Leonard “Buddy” Goeben, age 84, of Green Bay, passed away November 22, 2021. The son of the late Harry and Clenora (Schumacher) Goeben was born March 7, 1937 in Green Bay. He married Ruth VandenElzen on June 19, 1957 at St. Francis in De Pere. Buddy served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and spent over 42 years at KI in the Tool and Die Department.

Buddy is survived by his wife Ruth, children: Daniel (Michelle) Goeben; Debbie (Mark) Niemuth and their children: Averi (Akira) Niemuth and Ashley (Drew) Spratt; Denise (Dale) Braunsdorf and their children Sara (fiancé Nicholas VanWagner) Braunsdorf and Sage Braunsdorf; siblings: Joanne Ropson, Bill (Nancy) Goeben and June Heisler; in-laws: Ray (Shirley) VandenElzen, Tom (Joan) VandenElzen, Marlene VandenElzen; as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law: David Ropson and Alan VandenElzen.

Private family services have been held for Buddy. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
