Le Ann Weist

August 13, 1938 — April 20, 2021

Her smile would light up the room and her quick wit would keep you chuckling. Le Ann Weist, 82, of Allouez, WI, died April 20, 2021, in hospice care at Angels Touch. She was born August 13, 1938, in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of Eugene and Anna Rosalie Longfellow.

Le Ann graduated from LaRue High school. On February 14, 1956, she was united in marriage to Philip Weist.

She is survived by her husband Philip Weist of Allouez; five children, Robyn of Marion, OH, Rodney (Anne) De Pere, WI, Todd (Donna) La Porte, IN, Renee (Vince) of Shorewood, WI, Amy (Jon) of Lansing, KS; 10 grandchildren, Rena, Colin (Angie), Chantel, Avonelle, Emmaline, Mac, Jenael, Anna, Tommy and Ben (Ann), 7 Great Grandchildren, Breana, Mason, Vanessa, Ava, Brady, Mory and Jonathon; 1 Great Great Grandchild, Harper; sister Joyce Hoopaw, brothers Rodney Longfellow, Joe Edward Parish (Sandy), David Parish (Geneva); brother-in-law James Weist (Diane); sisters-in-law Sue Erickson and Rosalie (Keith) Alltop.

Preceding her in death were Eutalis and Lenole Parish who adopted Le Ann after the death of her parents; brothers-in-law Charles Hooppaw and John Jacob Weist; and her brother Phillip Parish.Le Ann was a member of the Diapers to Diplomas Club, LaRue United Methodist and First United Methodist Green Bay, and also Green Bay Shrine Auxiliary for crippled children supporting Minneapolis Shriners Hospital.  Her volunteer work included making homemade cards for charity. Le Ann was a wonderful homemaker, loving wife and mother.
