Lawrence J. Kane, 57, Maribel, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Bellin Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born January 11, 1955 in Brown County, WI, son of the late Victor and Doris (Corrigan) Kane. He graduated from West De Pere High School, and married Gloria Jahnke, July 5, 1980, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Denmark. He retired from Brillion Iron Works after 30 plus years. Lawrence enjoyed traveling, gardening, his dogs, and working with wood. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Gloria, Maribel; sisters: Mary Jahnke, De Pere, Jean (Richard) Thompson, Plover, Terri Kane and special friend Bill Viviano, Green Bay; uncle, Richard (Delores) Kane, Denmark; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Glenn (Sherry) Jahnke, Manitowoc, Rodney Jahnke, Maribel, Mark (Jean) Jahnke, Maribel; and special nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Denmark, with the Rev. Andrew Zoerb officiating.
