Lavone M. Hockers

Lavone Hockers, 96, Green Bay, passed away Friday, June 21, 2014. She was born December 1, 1917 in Green Bay, to the late John and Florence Johanski. On May 9, 1938 she married Richard “Dick” Hockers, and he preceded her in death on August 28, 2010. Survivors include her son, Randy Hockers; grandchildren: Carol, Cheryl and Jeffrey Mencheski; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Don Hockers, Bernice Hockers, Marge Hockers and Arlene (Les) Krug; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick”; son, Daniel (Butch); daughter, Laurel “Wow” (Robert) Mencheski; brothers-in-law: Roland, Elmer and Howard Hockers; and sisters-in-law: Sr. Alberta and Dorothy. Family and friends may call Friday, June 27, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., Ledgeview, with Fr. Judah Pigon officiating.
