Laura Grode

Laurie "Toots" Grode, 58, of Wrightstown passed away Monday February 14, 2022.

Born in Appleton, February 26, 1963, to the late Orville and Helen (Van Schyndel) Lemke, graduated from Wrightstown High School. Laurie was an avid fan of horseback riding, camping, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, attending grandchildren’s sporting events, getting together with friends for a great time, a 30+ year veteran of Williams Lea printing, she could also be found tending bar, pizza making, and socializing with a lot of cussing. Most of her life was unselfishly dedicated to her children, grandchildren and spending time with family.

Laurie is survived by Ted, children Eric (special friend Amanda) DuFresne, Ashley DuFresne, Amber (Chad) Neta, and Sammi Grode. Grandchildren Hailey, Caleb, Ava, Meredith, and Elaina. Along with siblings, other family including Desirea DuFresne, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, and her beloved pets.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Orv Jr. and Mike, also aunts and uncles.

Visitation will take place Saturday 9am – 10:45am at St, Clare’s Church Wrightstown. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am with Rev. Father Brian Wideman officiating.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Laurie’s name.

Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
