Laverne Zeamer

LaVerne Zeamer, 94, currently of Seymour and formerly of Shirley, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was born on September 22, 1927 to the late Ernest and Alma (Loewenhagen) Ossmann. On May 22, 1948 she married Arthur Zeamer at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Shirley, and has been a member there since. LaVerne loved watching her family grow and spending time with all of them. She enjoyed planting flowers in the spring.

Survivors include her daughters, Caroline (John) Lueck, Angie (Max) Schroeder, Lorraine (Rick) Cisler; nine grandchildren: Jeremy (special friend Melissa) Lueck, Danielle (Mike) Zeamer, Becky (Mike) Zittlow, Chris (Sarah) Schroeder, Jennifer (Dan) Seering, Charlie Schroeder, Shephanie (Christopher) Cisler, Stacy (Matt) Bosdeck, Wayne (Leah) Cisler; granddaughter-in-law Jessica Lueck; 15 great-grandchildren: Logan, Mykayla, Danielle, Daniel, Brandon, Samantha, Evan, Aiden, Griffen, Claire, Diesel, Charlee, Lincoln, Liberty, Aria; sisters: Elaine Court, Ione Kuehne, brother Vernon (Janet) Ossmann; sister-in-law Arlene Ossmann; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; daughter, Helen Zeamer; grandson, Michael Lueck; brothers and sisters: Amos Ossmann, Ernest (Sally) Ossmann, Emerson (Gertrude) Ossmann, Marvin (Esther) Ossmann, Robert Ossmann, Emerald (Luella) Ossmann and Lydia (Larry) Tews; brothers-in-law Richard Kuehne and Archie Court; Arthur’s siblings: Elmer (Lois) Zeamer, Alvin (Irene) (Lorraine) Zeamer, Rollie (Doris) Zeamer, Luella (Emerald) Ossmann.

Family and friends may visit at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3735 Shirley Rd., De Pere (Shirley), on Saturday February 26, 2022 from 9:00am until 10:45am, with a funeral service at 11:00am with Pastor David Ruddat officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
