Kimberly "Kim" Barnes

Kimberly A. “Kim” Barnes, age 44, of De Pere, passed away August 21, 2014. The daughter of Charles Barnes and Kathleen (Miller) Stupar was born June 27, 1970 in Waukegan, IL. She graduated from Zion Benton High School in 1988 and graduated with honors from Baret College in Lake Forest, IL with her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Kim married Andy Vande Walle on August 4, 2011. She had a love of animals, especially her horse Doodlebug. Survivors include her husband, Andy; Parents, Charles (Margaret) Barnes and Kathleen Stupar; step-children: Bridget (Chad) Blean, Jessica (Chris) Koenig, Erik and Devin Vande Walle; two brothers: Scott (Denise) Barnes and their son Tristan, and Anthony (Carey) Stupar; step-grandchildren: Ethan VanDenHeuvel and Rorey Blean; a grandmother, Barbara Miller; mother-in-law, Beverly Vande Walle and her beloved horse, Doodlebug. Per Kim’s request, private services were held. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family. Please make donations to your favorite animal shelter in Kim’s name.
