Kevin Lesperance Payette, age 48, of Green Bay, died Saturday, August 24, 2013, as a result of a bicycle accident while triathlon training. He was born in Indiana to Ronald and Patricia (Lesperance) Payette and spent his childhood in De Pere. Kevin swam for YMCA swim team from ages 7 until 18, when he graduated from De Pere High School in 1983. He attended UW-Madison and graduated with two masters degrees, one is Nuclear Engineering, and later, went back for his masters in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He enjoyed his time in Madison, and remained a loyal Badger fan throughout his life. He was a talented pianist, loved Jazz music, was an avid cyclist, triathlete, runner. He loved wilderness camping. He just returned from a recent canoe trip to the Boundry Waters with his daughters. Kevin had an engineer’s mind, and was always able to fix anything. Above all, Kevin was an extremely dedicated and wonderful father to his two daughters. Survivors include his two daughters: Alexis and Natalie and their mother, Heather Payette; his mother, Patricia Payette; special friend, Peggy Stewart and her children: Connor and Lauren; 3 uncles: Wayne (Mary) Payette, Timothy (Sandra) Lesperance and Stephen (Sara) Lesperance. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Aria; and his father, Ronald, his paternal grandparents: Leo and Vietta Payette and his maternal grandparents: Kenneth and Norma Lesperance; and an uncle, Dennis Payette. Family and friends may visit at Union Congregational Church, 716 S. Madison Street, Green Bay, on Tuesday, August 27, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, at the church, from 10:30am until 11:45am. Funeral Service will be held at noon on Wednesday, with the Rev. Steve Hartman officiating and Rev.
