Kenneth William Maass

September 25, 1965 — October 4, 2018

Ken Maass 53, Wrightstown, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at a local hospital after complications from his worn out paralyzed body. Ken was born September 25, 1965 to Charles (Chuck) and the late Arlene (Fischer) Maass. He was the youngest of seven children.

Ken attended Wrightstown High School and also graduated from a Technical College in Madison, WI, majoring in mechanical engineering. After graduation, he was employed by Nabisco Easy Cheese in Wrightstown until it’s closing in 2002. He then worked for Nice Pak in Green Bay until a car accident in 2005 which left him unable to work.

Ken’s life interests include his love of attending and watching local racing and NASCAR. He likes the excitement of the cars driving really fast in a circle (LOL). One of his favorite stories he liked to tell people is when he was at a Daytona 500 race with his father. During that race there was an accident involving the death of Dale Earnhardt. He enjoyed watching TV, especially the Badgers, Brewers and Packer games. Ken’s connection to friends was active through Facebook and he also enjoyed playing video games on his I-pad. At an earlier time in his life, Ken also liked to bowl and golf. He also umpired local baseball for many years. He was a starting organizer, and involved himself with the Greater Greenleaf Open Charity Golf Classic.

Ken’s survivors include his father, Chuck Maass; brothers and sisters, Jerry (Annie) Maass, Lou Beard, Bob (the late Betty) Maass, Mary (Dick) Fritsch, Char (Kenny) Lemke and Ed Maass. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may visit at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 437 Turner St., Wrightstown, on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 3:00PM to 4:45PM. Funeral services at 5:00PM with Rev.
