Kathleen Otradovec

Kathleen I. (LaCourt) Otradovec of Denmark, Wisconsin passed away suddenly at home with her husband by her side at the age of 53. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, godmother, and aunt of 10. Kathy worked at Bellin Health for 15 years as a health unit coordinator. She was very active in her daughter’s Girl Scouts, her son’s Boy Scouts, and throughout all their sports. Kathy was a very active member of All Saints Church by participating and helping with the teaching of religious education and Church Time. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, which included camping, swimming and playing cards.

Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Grace (Larsen) LaCourt; Allen C. and Elaine (Campshure) Jorgensen; uncles Allen and Don Jorgensen; cousins Amy Piontek, Chris Jorgensen, Phillip Piontek, and Sarah McGuire.

She was survived by her husband Steven; children Sarah (Ryan) Mader, and John (girlfriend Emily), her parents Roger and Annette (Jorgensen) LaCourt, in-laws Franklin and Gertrude (Cibulka) Otradovec; brother Paul (Lorie) LaCourt, sister Jody (Dean) Gorall, Brother-in-laws Mike (Nellie) Otradovec, Chris (Paula) Otradovec, and John (Mary) Otradovec; nieces Katelyn (Shiva) Bujunoori, Cassandra, Natalie, and Isabella Otradovec; Abby and Brittany LaCourt; nephews Michael, Franklin, Max, and Henry Otradovec. God-Parents Arleen and Jeff Miller.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home-Denmark (536 County Road R) on Thursday, June 29, from 4-7 PM with a prayer service to conclude the evening. Visitation will continue Friday at All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark (145 St. Claude Street) from 9:30-10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. Xavier Amirtham, O.Praem officiating and Deacon Dave Scheuer assisting.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the first responders who assisted in her final moments.
