Karlene June (Kirby) Richert

Karlene June Richert, 70, Allouez, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010. She was born June 18, 1939 in Oconto, WI, daughter to the late Vernon and Gertrude (Weidenhaft) Kirby. Karlene married Alfert Richert, November 11, 1961, and he preceded her in death in 2008. She had worked at Larsen’s Canning Company in Green Bay for many years. Survivors include two daughters; three half-brothers that were raised by her; two grandchildren; and one sister. Karlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her son, Al, Jr.; three brothers; and her step-father. Family and friends may call Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S. Madison St., Green Bay. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at church, with the Rev. Julie Wrubbel-Lange officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
