Karla Katherine Konkol

Karla Konkol, age 58 passed away peacefully Friday, December 28, 2018 at The Bay of North Ridge Nursing Home, Manitowoc. She was battling diabetes for the last four years. Karla was born on May 14, 1960 to Jeanette (Ashenbrenner) Konkol and the late Robert Konkol, Sr. She graduated from Roncalli High School, class of 1979. She last worked for Salm Partners in Denmark. Karla enjoyed going on bus trips and going to Door County.
She is survived by her mother, Jeanette, three brothers; Jay Konkol (special friend, Karen), Kevin Konkol (Sherri), and Robert Konkol Jr. (Corinne); two sisters, Kim Sargent and Sue Rukamp (special friend, Jude); her godchildren, Nichole Sargent and Evan Konkol; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death is her father, Robert, Sr.; sister, Valrie; and brother in law, Wayne Sargent.
Family and friends may gather from 9:30am until 10:45am on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church, 18228 County Road R, Denmark. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
