Karen J March

Karen (Carignan) March, age 54 of De Pere, passed away on November 1, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 12, 1965 to the late Norbert and Catherine (McGuigan) Carignan in Escanaba, Michigan. On July 26, 1986 she married Joseph March in Gunnison, Colorado. Karen was an energetic, fearless and driven person, a positive influence on all around her. She was thoughtful and considerate, giving of herself, always thinking of others as her love of giving gifts showed her love in so many small ways. She had a great sense of humor, as evidenced by an infectious laugh that filled the room. No one left her presence as a stranger. She enjoyed quilting and sewing as well as dressing up, in costume or for a party. Her strong presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Joe, children; Lawrence (Jimmy Sitzman) March, Steven March and Abigail (Spencer Graham) March, brothers and sisters; Daniel (Daisy) Carignan, Denice (Eric) Cooper, David (Elizabeth) Carignan, Larry (Carol) Carignan, Mercedia (David) Bridenhagen, Sandra Moore and Michelle (Kenton) Ellis. She is further survived by brothers and sisters in law; Thomas (David) March, Suzanne (Mark) Hartsfield, Virginia March, Michael (Melissa) March and Margaret (Theresa) March, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her parents in law, brother, Gerard Carignan and brother in law, Russell Moore.
Family and friends may gather on Friday, November 8, 2019 beginning at 1:00pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, a memorial mass will follow at 4:00pm with Fr. Richard Getchel officiating. Online condolences may be offered at www.cotterfuneralhome.com.
A celebration of life will be follow the services at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley, 2929 Allied Street, Green Bay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Hospice or Green Bay Oncology in Karen’s memory.
