Julie Ann Rosenau

Julie Ann Rosenau, 82, Green Bay passed away peacefully Sunday February 27, 2022.

Born July 4, 1939 in Green Bay to the late Wilbert and Leola (Daniels) VanderLinden; Julie graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1958 and continued her education at UW Oshkosh graduating from there in 1962. Preparing her for a teaching career and her work with the Department of Social Services. Julie married the late David Rosenau in 1961 in Green Bay and together they raised 4 wonderful children that they were so very proud of. Julie could often be found reading, tending to her garden, family, poodles, and performing community service. Julie also taught Sunday school, was an Adult Leader of the 4-H club, various horse clubs, and the La Leche league regional coordinator. For Julie, - her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they will all miss her so much!

Julie is survived by children John (Sherrie) Rosenau, Catherine “Cat” Rosenau, and Nicole “Nicky” Immel, grandchildren; Eric (Ashley) Boeck, David (Khrystyna), Jackson (Stephany), Alex (Nora), Zach, Adam (Jordan), Jasper and Wyatt Rosenau, Charles and Brady Immel, great grandchildren; Aden, Dexton, Ava, Austin, Cameron, Keegan, Parker, Jonathan, and Dmitri, Julie’s siblings; Janice (Al) Strei, Terry (Diane) VanderLinden, Tom (Colleen) VanderLinden and Jennifer Brown.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband David, son Daniel, sister Roberta Traber, along with many extended family and friends.

Visitation for Julie will be Friday March 11, 2022, at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church (347 Libal Street, De Pere) from 3pm until 3:45pm with a Funeral Service at 4pm with Father Tyler Richards officiating.
