Julie Ann Mushynski, 53, De Pere, formerly of Peshtigo, passed from this earthly life into her eternal life on May 31, 2012. Julie fought a valiant fight with Ovarian Cancer. She was born May 28, 1959 in Menominee, MI to William and Janet (Brown) Mushynski. She graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1977 and NWTI in 1986. She was employed at Hager, Dewick Zuengler, SC. Julie enjoyed reading, spending time at the ocean; and she shot a mean game of pool. She loved her four-legged friends, Chaz and Jasper, and her Green Bay Packers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, and we feel so very blessed to have had that time. Julie was a loving and wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandma and aunt. As her great-nephew and godson, Hunter, said, “I love you for being my aunt because you are really good at it.” Julie was a bright light in our family and will be greatly missed by her mother, Janet Mushynski; daughter, Lindsay Mushynski (significant other John Gove); granddaughter, Annabelle Mushynski; brothers, Bruce (Sandy) Mushynski, Keith (Debbie) Mushynski; sisters, Kathy (Darrell) Clark, Terry Jandt, Tracy (Chet) Allen. Also nephews: Steven, Craig, Bart, Adam, Nathan, Sean, Bruce, Caleb, Mitch, Micah; nieces: Jodi, Dawn, Allison, Tabitha, Suzannah, Haley; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, William Mushynski; brother, Scott Mushynski; and nephew, Brian Clark. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere, WI beginning at 1:00 p.m. and concluding with a memorial service to be conducted at 3:00 p.m. with Pastoral Minister, Steve Donovan officiating. The family respectfully requests flowers be omitted.
