Julie A. Popp

Julie A. Popp, age 78, formerly of Tisch Mills, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2023.

Julie was born January 21, 1945, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Everett and Ruth (Holly) Pope. She graduated from Lincoln High School of Manitowoc with the class of 1963. On November 11, 1967, she married Dale R. Popp in Manitowoc. She enjoyed fishing, dog pulling, bear hunting, coon hunting, camping by Boulder Junction at Trout Lake, caring for her variety of animals from raccoons to skunks to peacocks and beyond, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Julie was employed for 30+ years as a bus driver with the Mishicot School district.

Survivors include her one daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Dean Martin, Manitowoc; one son and significant other Jody Popp and Michelle Schwahn, Two Rivers; four grandchildren: Kayla Sheldon (Steve), Jared Martin (Jasmin), Zander Popp, and Vivian Popp; six great grandchildren Jaxon and Isabella Sheldon and Kegan, Everett, Warren, and Charlotte Martin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tommy and Kathy Popp; and 2 additional sister-in-laws Joanne (Ronnie)Popp and Debbie (Gary) Popp along with other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Popp in 2012, her parents Everett and Ruth (Holly) Pope, her grandparents Nicholas and Julia (Wilda) Holly, uncle Robert Holly, brothers-in-law Ronnie, Gary, and Allen Popp.
