Judith (Judy) Kralovec, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2018. The daughter of the late Louis and Caroline (Nachtwey) Peters, Judy was born on June 29, 1937 in De Pere and lived in De Pere nearly her entire life.

Judy attended St. Mary’s Grade School in De Pere and was a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy. On July 19, 1958, she married Roger Kralovec. Judy spent her life loving and serving others; especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with her “kids on her corner” (she was a City of De Pere crossing guard for more than 34 years). She loved to travel and saw much of the U.S. and Canada.

Judy had a strong faith in God and her Catholic religion. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Church in De Pere, where she was a Eucharistic minister, taught confirmation classes, and was a member of the Befrienders, as well as being involved with other church-related activities. She was also an active member of St. Matthew’s People of God Prayer Group.

Judy is survived by her husband Roger; her daughters Julie Heyn; Mary (Tim) Denissen; her sons Ed Kralovec (Susan Finco); Mark Kralovec; her grandchildren Michelle (Michael) Hatch and their children Leora and Shaelyn; Jared Heyn and his fiancé Kristen Dombeck; Ryan (Kelly) Denissen and their children Emmy, Matilda and Kaida; Erin (Danny) Francis and their children Caleb and baby sister Jane who is on the way; Alek, Jozef and Jarek Kralovec; sisters-in-law Charlotte Finnegan and Kay Kralovec; brother-in-law Ken Vande Walle; as well as many surviving nieces and nephews who gave her great joy whenever they visited.
