Judith (Rosenbaum) Gilson

Judith Ann (Rosenbaum) Gilson, age 59, formerly of Greenleaf, received her angel wings on Saturday, November 1st in Henderson, NV. Judy was born to Harold and Grace (Schweiner) Rosenbaum on August 2nd, 1955. Judy’s faith filled life allowed her to take care of others with her own special flare. Whether it be her children, the flowers in her garden, the neighborhood kids, a friend, or even her critters. She truly had a special gift to reach out to the ones who needed her the most. Survivors include her three “blue ribbons”: Michelle (Jamison) Jeske, DePere; Ginelle (Matt) Hussin, Seymour; Darelle Gilson, Greenleaf. Proud Grand “Mom” to five grandchildren: Specialist Brennan A. Gilson U.S. Army (Fort Drum, NY), Lauren Jeske, Seanna Burton, Sawyer Burton, and Hailey Hofmann. Oldest of 10: Rick (Betty) Rosenbaum, Dan (Theresa) Rosenbaum, Dave (Sue) Rosenbaum, Sue (Dave) Watruba, Steve (Michelle) Rosenbaum, Ken (Cindy) Rosenbaum, Jean (Mark) Honzik, Gerry (Andrea) Rosenbaum, Goddaughter Peggy (Brian)Van De Hey. 24 nieces and nephews, 4 great nieces and nephews. Godmother, Violet McVey, Godson, Bryce Herlache, and her extended family in Las Vegas. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Grace Rosenbaum, special friend Mike Sampson, Godfather Robert McVey, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends may call Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Destiny Church, 418 Destiny Drive, De Pere. A Celebration of Judy’s life will be at 5:00 p.m. Judy loved hats. Feel free to wear one in her honor. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family.
