Judith Ann Nemetz

Judith Ann Nemetz, 67, Denmark, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence of Unity Hospice. She was born November 21, 1946 in Green Bay, daughter to the late Benjamin and Lorraine (Brosig) Gerlikovsky. Judith graduated from Denmark High School and married Raymond Nemetz on May 28, 1966 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grove, and he preceded her in death on June 25, 2008. Judith farmed most of her life with her husband and owned and operated Ray and Judy’s Bar in Curran and Ray’s Hilltop Bar, Denmark. She enjoyed bus trips to the casino, bingo, reading, gardening and flowers, canning, and playing cards with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by three children: Roy (Lisa) Nemetz, Maribel, Sharon (Rob) Kirt, Manitowoc, and Tammy (Mike) Seefeldt, Two Rivers; six grandchildren: Ryan (special friend, Lauren), Derek (special friend, Amanda, and her daughter, Madisen), Ashley and Kyle Nemetz, and Zakk (Dawn) and Mike, Jr. Seefeldt; one sister, Karen Moore, Green Bay; and a brother, Tim (Sue) Gerlikovsky, Green Bay; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Charlotte Gerlikovsky, Daniel (Jeanette) Nemetz, Bowler, Delores (Merle) Watzka, Green Bay, Mary Ann (John) Barrette, Green Bay, Gloria (Richard) Warden, Green Bay, Elizabeth (Richard) Conrad, Green Bay, Jeanette Nemetz, Mishicot, Norma Nemetz, Green Bay, Vernal Nemetz, Denmark; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Judith was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Irene (Wertel) Nemetz; two brothers and two sisters, Eugene and Dennis, and Janice and Connie; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Virginia (Leo) Tauschek, Robert (Eileen) Nemetz, Arnie Nemetz, and Franklin Nemetz; and one infant grandson, Tyler. Family and friends may call Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Cooperstown, with Fr.
