Joyce Van Der Wegen, 80, Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016. The daughter of the late Vincent “Ben” and Margaret (Plude) Rosera was born on September 11, 1935. She married Robert Van Der Wegen on October 18, 1986. Joyce worked at St. Vincent Hospital as a Baby Nurses Aid for 24 years. Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bob”; two children: Stan Wrobel and friend Kris; Chris (Craig) Knapp; two grandchildren; seven step-children: Roger Van Der Wegen; Rick (Sharon) Van Der Wegen; Annette Van Der Wegen; Kari Van Der Wegen; Kelly (Kevin) Zipperer; Randy Van Der Wegen; David (Wendy) Van Der Wegen; 14 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Lyn Rosera; Mary Rosera; Denise (Tom) Schneider; brothers-in-law: Jim Kempinger; Larry Stiebs; Larry (Harriet) Van Der Wegen; Lenny Van Der Wegen; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Bob and Dick Rosera; sisters-in-law: Nancy Stiebs; Diane Kempinger; Margie Van Der Wegen; brother-in-law, Ron LaHaye; beloved pets: Sadie, Willie, Maggie. Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 9:00am until 10:45am. The Mass of Christian Burial for Joyce will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Timothy Brandt officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com.
