Joseph "Joe" Keebaugh

Joseph “Joe” Keebaugh, 59, Green Bay, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Bellin Hospital. He was born on July 27, 1954 in Moses Lake, WA to the late Harper B. and Lucille (Day) Keebaugh. Joe graduated from Mullan High School in Mullan, ID in 1972. Joe served in the US Air Force from 1972-1976. He later graduated from Boise State University in 1981. Joe married Marilyn Murphy on October 4, 1985 in Denver, CO. During their 28 years together, they shared many wonderful vacations and celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Hawaii. Joe enjoyed lots of great fishing trips and golf outings with friends and family from CO and WI. He was also an active member of the Colorado Muskie Club and served as their treasurer for 10 years. Joe worked as a CPA for the State of Colorado until his retirement in 2004. Upon moving to WI, Joe worked as Vice President of Business and Finance for Bellin College for the past 9 years. Joe enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, football games, playing cards and watching the sporting games of the great nephews/nieces and spending time with the “Murphy Group”. He is survived by his wife and two brothers, Jim (Darlene) Keebaugh, Colorado Springs, CO their children; William, Alicia, Emily, Charles and John (Charlene) Keebaugh, Mountain Home, ID their children Michelle and Sonya (Tony). Joe’s special God-children, Melissa Pytleski and Mariah Wilkerson. In-Laws: Allan (Kathy) Murphy, Little Suamico; their children: Melissa (Bryan), Jaime (Ed), Adam; Jim Murphy, FL, Jean White, De Pere; her children: Jim (Laura), Patrick (Heather), and Patricia (Skip) Pray, CA; their children: Luann (Steve), and Richard (Michelle); and great nieces and nephews and his many friends. Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A special prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by military honors. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Joe.
