Jon Robert Mineau

Jon Robert Mineau, 59, Green Bay, passed away at home on Saturday, April 23, 2016. The son of Robert and Monna (Chatell) Mineau was born on June 26, 1956 in Green Bay. On September 16, 1988, Jon married Martha Lefebvre at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Jon was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Allouez. Jon enjoyed motorcycling with his friend Bruce, playing cribbage, croquet, golfing, grilling out, and boating. He loved to cook and make gourmet pizzas. He was also known as Mr. “Fix it.” He will be sadly missed at the weekly family gatherings. Survivors include his children: Bobb (Brenda) Mineau, Michael (Carlie Alme) Mineau, and Molly (Oliver) Brown; grandchildren, Steven, Etta, and Myra. Jon is further survived by his father, Robert Mineau; siblings: Denise (Dan) Szurgot; James (Barbara) Mineau; Janine Mineau; Monica (Richard) Roel, Mary DeKeyser, Timothy (Tina) Mineau; aunt Violet Mineau; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Monna (Chatell) Mineau; maternal grandparents, Marie and Gilbert Chatell, paternal grandparents, Rose and William Mineau, nephew Matthew Mineau, aunts and uncles, David Mineau; Mary (Arthur) Gering; John (Peggy) Mineau; Elizabeth (Paul) LeBreck; Clifford Mineau; Wilfred Mineau. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere, on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Visitation will continue at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 130 St Matthews St, Green Bay, on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 9:30am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial for Jon will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Inurnment will be held in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum at a later date.
