John ""Smoothie"" Loppnow

John “Smoothie” Loppnow, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 4, 2016. John was born on May 29, 1962, the son of Elmer and Sylvia (Uecker) Loppnow. He grew up in the Town of Morrison. He attended Denmark High School and graduated in 1981. John was self-employed for many years, owning Loppnow Trucking. Most recently working in the cash crop trucking industry. John enjoyed telling a good story from time to time. He is survived by his loving parents, Elmer and Sylvia Loppnow; sister, Jane and her husband Dan, their children Jessica and Eric and Christopher; also leaving behind his very special friend, Vicki. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles, Roland and Margaret Schultz; Jeanette Loppnow; Alice Uecker; Henry and Serene Loppnow and Arleen and Dick Burmeister and many cousins and friends.
