John "Barney" Peters

John A. “Barney” Peters, 63, De Pere, passed away May 19, 2014. He was a veteran and retired from ATT as a chief mechanic, after which he worked at Ledgeview Golf Course. He enjoyed shooting trap and sporting clay with his friends, and loved working outside. Survivors include his wife, Barb; mother, Catherine Peters of Green Bay; a sister, Jeanne Peters (Jerry Coisman) of Green Bay and a brother, Howard (Linda) Peters, Jr. of Coves Park, IL; sisters and brother-in-law: Katie (Tony) Hamilton-their son Bobby (Brenna) Hamilton and their son Garrett, Peggy (Dale) Perock and their son Cody, and Kip (Kae) Kolb, and his favorite uncle, John Early, as well as other family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Howard Peters, Sr. and his mother-in-law, Ruthie Kolb. Private family services will be held. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting.
