Jillian Smith, 16, DePere, passed away unexpectedly from an auto accident. Jillian is currently a junior at DePere High School. She had decided on becoming a nurse and was taking classes to make that a career.
Her brother put her in the family fantasy football league in which she let the computer make her picks. Best team was hers.
She started cheerleading at the age of 5 and ended up taking 2nd place with her cousin Addison on the same team at the 2019 Summit in Florida. Competed until 2021.
She started working at Festival Foods at 14 and was still currently employed there.
She enjoyed swimming, listening to country music and fishing was her new “thing” since Matt taught her to fish.
She went to her first concert to see Luke Bryan with her two favorite guys Matt and her dad.
She will be dearly missed by her parents; brother Landen; maternal grandpa John Gillis; paternal grandma Lynn and Chris Blackburn; aunts and uncles Shawn (Heidi) Smith, Chris Gillis; cousins Addison, Anderson and Mirielle; also many friends including best friend Maddie.
