Jessica (Jessie) Mary (Reinhart) Raymaker, De Pere, and Shore Acres, where she spent every summer of her life, lost her courageous 3 year battle with cancer on July 11, 2016. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Jessie was born on January 2, 1942 to John C. Reinhart, Sr. and Catherine (nee Crowley) Reinhart. Jessie was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, class of 1960, and Loretto Heights College (currently Regis University) in Denver, CO. She obtained her Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Jessie married Michael C. Raymaker on September 30, 1967 with whom she shared nearly 49 years together. Jessie was very active and proud of her involvement in the Greater Green Bay Community. She was the Director of Children’s Services at the CP Center for 24 years. She served on numerous boards and committees including: Family and Childcare Resources, Encompass Childcare, Neighborly Dance Club officer, Woman’s Auxiliary of the Salvation Army, Service League of Green Bay, longtime member of the Venture Ski Club and Oneida Golf and Country Club. Jessie was also appointed to the Governor’s Committee for People with Disabilities. Jessie loved spending time with her friends and family, especially at her cottage at Shore Acres near Dyckesville. She was very active and loved golfing, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing and doing anything and everything on the water, the faster the better. A woman of all seasons, Jessie loved winter. Jessie was an avid downhill and cross-country skier and enjoyed many vacations to the Rocky Mountains and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Jessie had many adventures with wonderful friends in countries throughout the world, including Ireland, France, Turkey, Greece, and Italy. Jessie is survived by her loyal and loving husband Michael, who never missed a medical appointment for his wife, son Eric Raymaker (Heather Goodwin) and daughter Andrea Raymaker. She is further survived by her brother, David Reinhart, Sr., sister-in-law Juliane (Suzy) Steifvater, brother-in-law Christopher Raymaker, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John C. Reinhart, Jr., Thomas Reinhart, and Michael Reinhart. Father and Mother-in-law Leonard C. and Kathleen (Powers) Raymaker, and Brother-in-law Mark C. Raymaker. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere, on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will continue at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 4805 Sportman Drive, Ledgeview on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 9:30am until 10:45am. The Mass of Resurrection for Jessica will be celebrated at 11:00am with Rev. Richard Getchel, officiating. Jessie’s family would like to thank Dr. Jonathan Tammela and his staff especially Martha, Kristin and Tina for their compassion and support over the past three-plus years. We would also like to thank the nurses and staff on the 9th Floor at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Every person we encountered helped Jessie live her last days on her terms with dignity.
