Jesse J. Morella

Jesse J. Morella, 45, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly November 23, 2015 due to an automobile accident. He was born February 24, 1970. Jesse was a 1988 graduate of De Pere High School where he enjoyed playing football, basketball and baseball. He enjoyed playing golf, shooting pool and riding his Harley. Jesse was a kind, compassionate son, brother and friend. The greatest joy in Jesse’s life were his children, he was a proud and devoted father! Jesse is survived by his mother and step-father, Carol (Allen) Sabel; father, Frank Morella; step-mother, Nancy Sederstrom; son, Jordan Morella and his girlfriend Amy Hertrampf; daughter, Brooklyn Morella; brother, Jeff (Niki) Morella and children Niko, Ethan, Landon; sisters, Stephanie Sabel, Melinda Morella and her fiancé Tony Olson; maternal grandfather, Ray Pansier; paternal grandmother, Adeline Morella; Jesse’s girlfriend, Dayna LeMieux Mastalir; his bestfriend, “Thistle” Van Deurzen; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Pansier; paternal grandfather, Sam Morella. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm. Visitation continues on Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, from 9:30am to 10:45am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church at 11:00am with the Rev. Judah Pigon, MF, officiating and Rev. John H. Harper concelebrating.
