Jesse J. Mcgillivray

Jesse J. McGillivray, age 39 of De Pere, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023.

Jesse was born on November 3, 1983, to Brenda McGillivray. He graduated from Green Bay East High School with the class of 2002, and was well known in the local LGBT community. Jesse worked in retail, having spent time working at Walmart, Sears, and Meijer. He enjoyed participating in theater and choir throughout high school, and absolutely loved Broadway shows and everything Disney.

Jesse is survived by his parents Brenda and Tom; his brother Jonathan and sister Angel; niece Akia and nephew Malakye; special friends Kaitlyn and Brad; and his faithful dog Gizmo.

He was preceded in death by his aunt Arlene McGillivray; cousin Ayme Mendez; his “sister” Sharon Miller; and his loving pets Sophie and Mia.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm.
