Jennifer De Groot

Jennifer L. De Groot, 49, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a pulmonary embolism on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at her home. She was born March 2, 1965, daughter to John R. and Jeanne (Alf) Cummings. Jennifer graduated from Portage High School in 1983 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied Agricultural Science. Jennifer married Jay De Groot on October 24, 1998 in Madison, WI. She worked as a Sales Representative for Imperial Supplies for 15 years. Jennifer enjoyed stamping, and is very involved with her daughter; supporting her at school and with 4H activities. As a youth Jennifer was involved with raising and showing prize winning cattle, representing Fountain Farms Angus. Jennifer held offices in volunteer organizations and spent numerous hours unselfishly doing things for others. She was always there to help anyone who needed it. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Jay; daughter, Madison, at home; parents, John R. and Jeanne Cummings; brothers, Jeff (special friend-Vivian Powell) Cummings, Henderson, NV; Jerry (Tammy) Cummings, and Jack (Kathy) Cummings, both of Endeavor, WI; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Win and Sandy De Groot, Green Bay; brother-in-law, David (Sue) De Groot, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Wendy De Groot, Gillett; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
