Jeannette R. Schuster

November 28, 1921 — June 18, 2018

Jeannette R. Schuster, 96, passed away peacefully Monday, June 18, 2018. Jeannette was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on November 28, 1921 the daughter of the late Henry and Rose (Dalsasso) DeWitt.

She attended St. Willebrord Catholic School, Cathedral High School and graduated from East High School in Green Bay. On September 19, 1946 she married Donald G. Schuster.
Jeannette loved to play bridge, travel and enjoyed golf for many years at Shorewood Country Club and Oneida Golf and Country Club. She was also active in school and community clubs and organizations for many years. Jeannette was a very kind, gracious person who always adored her family and cherished her friendships. Throughout her life she was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and adoring great-grandmother. She possessed a very strong faith, a wonderful sense of humor, and an abundance of love and encouragement for all.

Jeannette is survived by her three children, Edward (Marcia) Schuster II, Christina (James) Wangerin and Jonathan Schuster; her two granddaughters, Dr Lauren E. Demos and Dr. Meredith (David) Evans; and two great-grandchildren, Henry Evans and Alexander Evans.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald G. Schuster; her son, Christopher J. Schuster; her two great-granddaughters, Ashley Christina Evans and Charlotte Grace Evans; in addition, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph, Charles, Martin, and Ann.

A private family service is planned at St. Willebrord Catholic Church in Green Bay. Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory of De Pere is assisting the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.cotterfuneralhom.com.
