Jean Danen

Jean M. Danen, 87, DePere, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011. A lifelong resident of the Green Bay area, Jean was born August 5, 1923, to William E and Elsie (Rolewitch) Bodart. Jean was a graduate of West High School and attended UW Madison. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, and playing the church organ and her piano. Jean is survived by her son Chris (Joan) Danen, daughter-in-law Vicki (Tom) Danen, daughters JoAnn (Denis) Sawicki, and Sandra (John) Smits; Grandchildren Jeff (Jaime) Danen, Alison (Chris) Denil, Nicole (Mike) Niebauer, Will (Heidi) Danen; along with great-grandchildren Bryn, Adah, Isabelle, Kaitlyn and Emma; brother William (Pat) Bodart. Preceding her in death was her husband, James, son Tom, and sister Marilyn. Cotter Funeral Home, DePere, is assisting the family. A private family service is planned.
