Janice Marie Stoychoff, 73, of Green Bay passed away at Unity Hospice’s Jack and Ingrid Meng Center surrounded by her family.
Born March 3, 1949, in Stambaugh, MI to the late Joseph and Evelyn (Polich) Bors, Janice graduated Stambaugh High School in 1967. Janice married Gary Stoychoff on August 23, 1969 in Caspian, MI and they enjoyed a great life together. Janice was a life member of Trout Unlimited, she loved traveling the United States in their RV, had an interest in the conservation of natural resources, was an avid bowler, softball player in her younger days and wasn’t to be bothered during her shows “General Hospital”, and the entire “Gameshow Network”. She also loved to complete crossword puzzles. Janice was all about family, she was a caretaker, a worrier, but most of all she was a giver. She will be truly missed by her boys.
Janice is survived by her husband of nearly 53 years, Gary; her son Ron (Beth); Grandson Alex; sisters Kay (Karl) Krause, Joyce (Robert) Johnson; brother David (Sue) Bors.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Marsha and Jean.
The family would like to extend deep gratitude to Beth Constantino for her endless help and care and to the Bellin Cardiac Unit, and Unity Hospice where all the caregivers made our journey over the past month easier to bear. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Janice’s name to the American Cancer Society.
Private family services have already been held, Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
