Janell Barlament

May 17, 1975 — June 8, 2020

Janell Dawn (Wegner) Barlament met the angels on June 8, 2020 surrounded by her family after a brief, but courageous battle with leukemia. Her contagious laugh, smile and love for life will always be remembered by all who knew her. Her children were her top priority, as witnessed in their enjoyment of her cooking.
Janell was born May 17, 1975 in Green Bay to Marlin and Sandra (Schuettpelz) Wegner. After attending St. John Lutheran School and Suring High School, she graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in finance. Janell worked for the Rite Place for over 20 years and Jackson Kahl Insurance as a Senior Account Executive. On January 24, 2003, she married Paul Barlament at Faith Lutheran Church in Green Bay. She enjoyed family vacations, shopping, gardening, concerts and Bunco.
Survivors include her husband Paul; children Carter and Sophia; parents, Marlin and Sandra Wegner; sisters: Jody (Rod) Swan and Julie (Rick) Bogner; mother-in-law Kay Barlament; brother-in-law John (Alexandra) Barlament; sister-in-law Sue (Jody) Breider; nieces and nephews: Montana (Meghan) Swan, Allie Swan, Tess (Shaun) LaRue, Paige Bogner, Katie Barlament, Jane Barlament, Mira Barlament, Elizabeth Breider, Sam Breider, Andrew Breider, and a furry friend Max.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law William Barlament; Godmother Sande Walker; grandparents and her cat Wheezley.
Family and friends may visit at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, on Sunday, June 14, from 2-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 15, at 11am and will be live-streamed on the Faith Lutheran Church Facebook page. Attendance at the funeral service on Monday is private for family only. For everyone’s health and safety, during the visitation period we ask you enter the church under the car port on Webster Ave and after greeting the family exit through the rear doors of the church to the parking lot. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
The family would like to thank Aurora, Froedtert, Unity and ThedaCare for their love, support and comfort.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for the education of Carter and Sophia.
