James "Jim" Durand

James Durand, born April 28, 1961, was a man of deep faith and a devoted, loving husband and father to his five children. He spent his free time enjoying, nurturing and supporting his family in any and every possible way. Jim was a devout Catholic and an active member of the St. Mary Church community. He was employed by Krueger International. Jim leaves behind a wife, Cynthia, who cherished her husband; his children Melissa, James, Benjamin, William and Anna, who deeply loved and respected their father; his parents James and Gertrude Durand, who raised a good man; his siblings Ann, Joan and John; his father- and mother-in-law Ray and Angie St. Louis; sister-in-law Patricia Nelson and brother-in-law Ray St. Louis. Our hearts ache with your absence, but we know you are with your Father. Heaven has another angel and we know you will watch over and guide us. A Memorial Mass for Jim will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, 2013, 12 Noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., Ledgeview, with Rev. Judah Ben-Hur S.Pigon,MF officiating. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION PRIOR TO THE MASS. A reception will immediately follow the Mass at church. No flowers please, a memorial fund has been established for Jim and Cindy’s children.
