Howard J. Schweitzer

Howard J. Schweitzer, beloved husband of Delores, age 88, dear father of Dan (Kendra), Grandpa of Nick and Karl, and Father-in-law of Mary. Howard was raised in South Milwaukee where his family resided. He will now be reunited with son, Greg; brothers, Jim and Earl; and sisters, Alice and Ruth. Howard was in the Coast Guard in WWII and also was an auto dealer. He loved auto body work (he repaired and painted many, many cars), boxing, tennis, duck and pheasant hunting, gardening, doing household repairs—especially electrical which he learned from his brother, Earl, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, raising pedigree dogs, and his job, insurance adjusting. Per Howard’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Howard donated his body to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for medical research. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
