Harriet (Mathieson) Ruttner

Harriet Ruttner, 90, Denmark, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Ledgeview Nursing Center. She was born November 6, 1919, daughter to the late Adolph and Anna (Heiser) Mathieson. Harriet married Vernon Ruttner on April 9, 1942, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Denmark, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2004. Survivors include three children: Carol (William) Diehlman, Crivitz; Dan (Norma) Ruttner, Beloit; and Lynn (Harold) Kapla, Two Rivers. Harriet was also blessed with many grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Buddy and Gordon Mathieson; and a sister, Janet Dworak. Family and friends may call Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Denmark. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at church, with the Rev. Ralph Hankermeyer officiating. Knuston-Cotter Funeral Home, Denmark, is handling arrangements.
