Harish Jakinapalli

Harish Jakinapalli Passed away Thursday evening, September 8, 2016. Harish lost his battle with cancer after three long years. Harish was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in Jan 2014. He went through chemotherapy for six months and was in remission for a year. His AML relapsed on Dec 4th 2015, after which he got a bone marrow transplant in June 2016. Although it looked like the treatment was working for a while, complications set in about 4 weeks ago and Harish has been in a critical state since then, fighting for his life. Harish is survived by his Wife Preeti, Daughters Nithya (8) Adhya (5), Mother Laxmi and his brothers family. He was great husband, father and a friend. He liked to spend his time playing with his kids and was a big time Packers fan. He will be greatly missed by all his close ones. He will be eternally remembered for his generosity, it's ironic he succumbed to consequences dealing with bone marrow transplant as Harish donated his bone marrow to a person in critical situation and is doing very well. Please keep Harish’s family in your prayers. Visitation will be held at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N.
