Glenn W. Schwartz

July 24, 1919 — August 1, 2010

Glenn W. Schwartz, 91, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born July 24, 1919 in Green Bay, son of the late Violet (Sasse) Schwartz. He moved to Waukegan, IL, in 1936 where he met Muriel C. Nystrom. They were married in Elkhart, Indiana, on May 16, 1941. Glenn served 2 ½ years in the United States Navy during WWII. Glenn was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was employed as a Sales Representative for Uarco Business Forms for 28 years. Survivors include his two daughters, Bonnie (Rod) Eggert, Richfield, WI, and Nancy (Vincent) Schoon, North Branch, MN; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Muriel; one granddaughter; one brother and one sister. Family and friends may call Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S. Webster Ave., Allouez, with the Rev. Peter A. Speckhard officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home, De Pere, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
