Glenn A. Kudick, 61, Denmark, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs). Glenn was born December 29, 1950, in Green Bay, son of Vernand and Julia (Ourada) Kudick. He graduated from Denmark High School. In 1993 he took over the family business, Kudick Concrete Construction, and continued to run it until his health forced him to stop in 2011. Glenn married Jackie (Fiel) Hendricks on April 15, 2000. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Community, Ledgeview. Glenn loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, enjoyed going up north to the cabin he and Jackie built with the help of family, and was an avid Packer fan. Survivors include his loving wife, Jackie; children: Kayla Kudick, at home; Sarah (Clyde) Engelbrecht, Maribel; Jill Kudick, De Pere; step-children: Jenny (Eric) Schwartz, Denmark; Tammy (Josh) O’Dill, Luxemburg; and Chad Hendricks, Green Bay; his grandchildren: Keegan and Jacob Engelbrecht; Zachary, Ethan, and Allyson Schwartz; Courtney, Evan, Brayden, and Owen O’Dill; his mother, Julia Kudick, Denmark; brother, Ron (Lynn) Kudick, Denmark; mother-in-law, Betty Treml, Green Bay; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Janet Hutjens, Jim Fiel, Jane (Gary) Cromell, Joe (Jackie) Fiel, John (Donna) Fiel, Michelle (Brian) Cameron, Jeff (Heidi) Treml; and two Godchildren: Beth Johanek and Jessica Van De Hei; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernand Kudick; granddaughter, Gabrielle Schwartz; a sister, Cheryl VanderKinter; brother, Tom Kudick; and nephews, Jeff VanderKinter and Cory Fiel. Family and friends may call Sunday, May 13, 2012, (TODAY), from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the procession leaves for St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Rd., Ledgeview. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday at church, with Fr. Patrick Beno officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
