Gertrude P. Vanderkinter

Gertrude P. VanderKinter, 95, Denmark, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at a local nursing home. She was born November 14, 1916 in the Town of Eaton, daughter to the late Arthur and Boletta (Christensen) Hansen. She attended Henrysville School, and married Everett VanderKinter on June 19, 1936 and Emanuel Lutheran Church, Henrysville, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2000. She farmed with her husband most of her life in the Town of Gibson. Survivors include her two sons and daughter: Kenneth and Janice VanderKinter, Mishicot, Haorld and Debbie VanderKinter, Green Bay, and Hazel and Dennis Kubichka, Manitowoc; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; and one brother, Edmund Hansen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett; one son, Leroy VanderKinter; one daughter-in-law, Florence; and a brother-in-law, Clarence (Judy). Family and friends may call Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Denmark, with the Rev. Andrew Zoerb officiating.
